Help preserve the heritage of Plaquemines Parish in the tradition of All Saints Day cemetery renewal. Volunteers welcome for Dobard Cemetery Clean-up Day Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m., in Jesuit Bend, especially friends and relatives of Bailey, Dobard, Escande, King, Ricard, Salvant, Sanders, Wilson and relatives. Activities include cleaning and painting tombs, weeding graves, resetting a tombstone and some copings and trimming brush. A dedication of new grave markers will be held at noon.
